The Two Functions of Orgonite.
It is not often mentioned that there are two distinct functional levels of orgonite: They may be called the Primary function and the Secondary function.
To make my explanation clearer; perhaps a quick reminder of what orgonite does and how it affects the immediate environment may be useful.
Positive etheric energy (Chi, Orgone, Prana etc) has always been abundant on Earth. It was due to this positive etheric environment that Life became possible in the first place and continued to thrive in pristine health for eons.
With the discovery of electrical generation; Man inadvertently found a way to disrupt this positive etheric environment with increasingly disastrous results.
All electrical appliances of whatever size emit varying quantities of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) which has the effect of splitting the H2O molecules into H+ and OH- ions.
The positive etheric energy (let’s call it Chi) depends on water, in its various forms, as a conductor and so areas that are charged with EMR become commensurately Chi-depleted and any life forms there begin to suffer.
Orgonite absorbs and neutralizes EMR allowing the ions to reform into water molecules.
When this happens; the positive Chi flows back into the area and all life forms begin to return to good health.
This neutralizing function is what I am referring to as orgonite’s Primary Function and it is a prerequisite to the workings of all orgonite devices.
The Secondary Function of orgonite involves ways in which the positive Chi (which abounds in areas where the EMR has been removed) can be manipulated and enhanced for particular reasons.
Coils are often used to channel the flow of Chi in a particular direction and gemstone combinations are employed for their capacity to enhance the energy.
In this way; ‘healing orgonite’ can be created to produce specific etheric effects.
These ‘secondary’ ingredients are irrelevant to orgonite’s primary function but the basic mixture of metal shavings, natural crystal and resin are essential to all orgonite devices.
This distinction between the two different functions of orgonite is rarely mentioned and may not even be recognized by the very people who make orgonite.
This leaves the novice orgonite maker with a very confused idea of the basic ingredients necessary to make a working piece of orgonite.
It may be understood from this explanation that the coils and gemstone combinations don’t even need to be part of the same physical package as the primary orgonite matrix (metal shavings, crystal material and resin).
As long as they are in the same area; they will modify, direct and enhance the positive Chi just as well, if not better, than if they were cast in the same resin block.
This may go some way to explaining the Plasterite controversy.
The plaster presents no barrier to the positive Chi and makes a handy base for the gemstones, metal oxides, coils etc that serve to manipulate and enhance the positive energy which flows back into the area when the simple orgonite matrix removes the EMR.

So if I have my amethyst and rose quartz just sitting on my table without any orgonite, and they are just modifying whatever chi there is around it?
And if there happens to be an orgonite nearby, then the crystals nearby will modify and ‘color’ the positive chi too, can I say that?
I can tell that you are really wanting to make everything as basic and simple and clear to understand as possible! From what I understand from your blog, can I say that Orgonite’s main function is to

I’m just confused about this thing called electrostriction that purportedly takes place. I just want to know the basic principles that are behind the effectiveness of Orgonites. I’ve read elsewhere that crystals have very stable matrices in them, and whatever energy that the metal bits absorb and bring to the crystal, will have their chaotic structure rearranged through the crystal and released as good energy. This sounds like a converting of some sort. Then, I read your blog which explains that what happens really is that EMR is removed, and water molecules can form together again for beneficent energy.
I know it’s never good to compare different material on the internet. However, if you don’t mind, could you clarify a bit more please? Thanks so much for your time and kindness.

Hi Cleve.
Orgonite was discovered by people who were neither Scientists nor particularly benevolent towards Science.
It was investigated seriously by Don and Carol Croft who did many experiments into its deployment as an environmental healing tool and the worldwide Gifting movement owes much to this basic practical research.
Energy Sensitives like Carol Croft noticed that when Orgonite was deployed; the ‘negative energy’ was replaced by ‘positive energy’ and so they jumped to the conclusion that Orgonite converts negative energy directly into positive energy.
When asked for a Scientific explanation; they were at a loss for a logical answer and assumed that Science probably couldn’t answer either.
It was only when my late friend Steven J Smith designed a series of practical experiments (mostly with CBs) which I conducted that an explanation of what Orgoite actually does emerged.
It was not received well by the ‘old school’ Orgonite aficionados who preferred to cling to the ‘direct conversion’ belief.
Many more open-minded orgonite experimenters around the world recognised the simple Scientific logic of Steven’s explanation and were happy to finally have a solution to the question of How Orgonite Works.
This accounts for the disparity of information on the internet.

The main function of Orgonite is to remove the EMR from the area so that the water molecules can regain their structural integrity and once more conduct the positive etheric field.
The terminated crystals, coils and gemstones can then realise their full potential to colour, flavour, direct and modify this positive etheric energy in accordance with their various etheric potential.
If your crystals and gemstones are sitting in an area charged with EMR; then there is precious little positive etheric energy to direct of modify and so they will be doing very little.
If you bring a piece of simple Orgonite into the area; the positive etheric field will be restored and their potential will be realised.
They do not need to be physically cast into the same resin block as the simple orgonite in order to direct the positive etheric energy.

Hi Dan,
Thank you for the clear response! You must be sitting near a piece of Orgonite when replying because I see you are always so calm and nice in your replies haha
There are shops selling crystals in Singapore. I suppose a single piece of Orgonite introduced into the shop will allow ALL the crystals to do their amazing work. That would be incredible and interesting!
